This console table fuses ancient mystery and contemporary design through a Stonehenge-inspired table. This magnificent piece, stretching a massive ten feet in length and supported by pillar-like bases hopes to create awe for its inhabited space. Crafted from solid white oak and coated with a raw-matte plant-based oil, the table aims to replicate the enduring strength of the famous stones. The leg bases are tapered in towards the top and have a soft shoulder before intersecting the bottom of the table surface. DRIVEN BY SOFT CURVES

The Wood Henge table is simple in form, but complex in how the parts interact with each other. The base pieces (legs and support) have mirroring profiles that relate and play together as interlocking pieces. The top has inlays that project the shape of the legs underneath. The form is visually heavy yet soft on the eyes. This contrasting echo is possible through the harmonies of curvature.
